Most packaged products are piled high with sugar—not at PLANTSTRONG. We sweeten our products with whole fruit whenever possible and only use a wee dash of maple syrup in our pizza crust kits to make sure you get a small kiss of sweetness.
As Little Salt As Possible
Our guideline is to keep sodium at a ratio of 1:1 for milligrams of sodium to calories per serving. Every product we make has the least amount of sodium to still taste delicious. And if you want to add salt, YOU are in control. We encourage you to add a little using the salt shaker—where you’ll actually taste it—instead of us layering it throughout the production process.
No Oil. Period.
We are black and white on oil. It’s the most calorie-dense substance on the planet and is void of any nutritional umph. All oils are 100% fat. We prefer to get our fats from whole plants, with the water, fiber, vitamins, and minerals all still intact.
