Gingerbread Spice Latte
If you're the type of person that loves to start your morning with a special beverage, try our Gingerbread Spice Latte! Warming spices and date sugar meld together into a perfect syrup that tastes incredible in a coffee or tea latte. It's the perfect way to start your day when it's a little chilly outside. This recipe makes enough for at least 10 drinks!

Ingredients
- 1 cup date sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- ½ tsp ground dried ginger (or 2 tsp freshly grated or sliced ginger)
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 6oz strongly brewed coffee or PLANTSTRONG Black Cumin Chai Tea
Directions
- In a small saucepan, add all ingredients for the gingerbread syrup. Simmer for 5-10 minutes on low for the flavors to infuse. Stir frequently.
- If your syrup is too thick, add a tiny bit of water until you reach your desired consistency. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. Strain out the cinnamon stick & fresh ginger if using.
- Prepare 1 cup of coffee or chai tea. Stir in 1-2 tbsp of gingerbread syrup, depending on preference.
- Froth PLANTSTRONG Unsweetened Almond Milk and pour over coffee or tea mixture. Serve!
