Your order may arrive in multiple packages, which may be delivered separately. To check, simply click on your tracking link when you receive it, in the upper right corner it should say how many packages will be arriving. If you have received all packages and still missing an item, please email hello@plantstrongfoods.com.

No, only one discount code can be user per order.

The hot teas are in a recyclable and biodegradable plant-based silken tea sachet that need to be municipally compostable due to the fact that they need the heat of factory composting.

The iced teas are in a polypropylene filter pouch.

The chilis and stews are gluten-free, but they are all made in a facility that processes wheat products. 

Our granola products do not contain gluten, but they are also made in a facility that processes wheat products.

We do offer Gluten-Free Pancake Mix and Gluten-Free Cornbread mix.

The burger mixes are gluten free.

The Peanut Curry sauce is gluten-free, but because it is made in a facility that manufacture other products that do contain wheat products, so we cannot get gluten free designation.

We don't use any oils in our products. Our suppliers thought we were crazy saying, "You can't make delicious food that way!" We said, "Watch us."

We recommend opening the package right when you get it. Take out the sauce packs, they do not need to be frozen (but can be if you would like). Put the crusts inside the freezer bag provided. Seal and then place them in the freezer right away.

Yes! Once you get the code from your points (see How do I use my Loyalty points), you can put that code in the discount code box in your subscription portal.

These accounts are typically offered through employers. If you're unsure whether you have an HSA or FSA, you can check with your employer's HR department or your benefits administrator.

Truemed partners with health and wellness brands, like Plant Strong Foods, to enable qualified customers to use HSA/FSA funds on health and wellness purchases. Truemed partners with a network of medical practitioners who can issue Letters of Medical Necessity to qualifying customers, thereby saving customers money on health and wellness purchases.

HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pretax money to pay for expenses incurred in the prevention or alleviation of a disease. Because HSA/FSA uses tax-free money, you’re getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on your income and then spend it on health items, you can use pre-tax funds to invest in your health.

An individual can contribute up to $3850 pretax to their HSA per year, or $7750 for a family (plus an additional $1000 if you are 55+). Individuals can contribute up to $3050 pretax to their FSA per year (with an additional $500 in employer contributions allowed). Almost every individual will save between $1,000 and $2,000, depending on their state and tax rate. Use a calculator here to estimate your savings.

Using your HSA/FSA funds on Plant Strong products can result in significant savings. These accounts use pre-tax dollars, which means you could save up to 30-40% on average on your purchases at Plant Strong Foods.

Unfortunately, Truemed’s services are for individuals who have HSA or FSA accounts (or plan to fund one during open enrollment). We encourage you to ask your employer about information on your HSA or FSA!

The items in your Truemed Letter of Medical Necessity (“LMN”) are now qualified medical expenses in the same way a visit to the doctor’s office or a pharmaceutical product is.

We are facing a chronic disease epidemic in the US. There are thousands of studies showing whole, plant-based foods are often the best medicine to prevent and reverse disease. Foods qualify as medical expenses if they treat or prevent an illness, and a doctor substantiates the need. Your Truemed LMN satisfies all IRS requirements to make your wellness spend fully reimbursable.

You have our guarantee that Truemed will pay the full amount you should have saved if any HSA/FSA purchase outlined in our LMNs is rejected.

You can attempt to use your HSA or FSA card, your order will likely not transact successfully. In either case, it is imperative that you complete the Truemed intake survey and acquire a Letter of Medical Necessity in order for your purchase to be compliant and eligible for purchasing with your HSA or FSA funds.

While the exact policy depends on your specific HSA or FSA administrator, we generally advise that you submit expenses incurred on or after the date listed on your Letter of Medical Necessity.
