These bars are the perfect energy for on-the-go snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Rip’s Big Bowl Banana Walnut Cereal
  • 12 dates
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tbsp flax meal

Directions

  1. Blend the cereal in a blender or food processor until the big chunks have been broken down.
  2. Add the cereal to a medium mixing bowl.
  3. In the blender or food processor - add dates, water, peanut butter and flax meal - blend until it forms a paste.
  4. Combine in the bowl until well mixed. Spread on parchment paper 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool completely before slicing into 12 bars.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
