Carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, winter squash, mangoes, cantaloupe, corn, and apricots all provide different carotenoids, including beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, and beta-cryptoxanthin.
Some carotenoids can be converted into vitamin A, an essential nutrient that supports normal vision, immune function, and healthy cell growth.
