Portobello Mushroom Meatballs
The tastiest plant-based meatballs you'll ever try, made easy by our PLANTSTRONG Portobello Mushroom Burger mix! Serve with oil-free pasta, brown rice pasta, and a veggie-packed side salad for a PLANTSTRONG-approved dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 package PLANTSTRONG Portobello Mushroom Skillet Burger Mix
- 6 oz warm water or broth
- Optional: chopped basil & toasted pine nuts
Directions
- Prepare Portobello Mushroom skillet burger mix to package instructions, using only 6 oz warm water or broth. Stir together and cover for 10 minutes.
- Stir again, then let burger mix chill in the fridge for 20-25 minutes.
- Once chilled, grab 1 ½ - 2 tbsp burger mix, form into a meatball, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let chill in the fridge or freezer for another 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and sear on each side for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Warm up your pasta sauce. Serve meatballs topped with pasta sauce, basil & pine nuts over brown rice pasta or with a salad.
