Dark Chocolate Energy Bites
These make a fabulous treat when you need a burst of energy, perfect for long runs or a Sunday bike ride. Try them frozen!
Dark Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients

1 bag PLANTSTRONG Dark Chocolate Granola

12 medjool dates - pitted

1 cup natural peanut butter or almond butter

½ cup water
Directions
In a blender, pulse the granola until it is a crumbly consistency. Add the granola to a medium mixing bowl. Blend the pitted dates, peanut butter and water until a paste develops.
Combine the granola with the peanut butter date mixture in the mixing bowl until well combined.
Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball. Repeat until the mixture is gone.
- Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator or freezer and enjoy these bites before or during a lengthy workout.
