Date Caramel Apple Pizza is the perfect sweet and savory treat, made possible by our new PLANTSTRONG personal pizza crusts! Homemade date caramel, fresh apples, melted date-sweetened chocolate and chopped peanuts are the perfect combination of Fall flavors.
Ingredients

3 tbsp hot water

2-3 small apples, diced

⅓ cup date-sweetened chocolate chips

¼ cup roasted unsalted peanuts, chopped
For the date caramel
For the pizza
Directions
Preheat oven to 450℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or prepare a pizza stone.
To make the date caramel, add dates, hot water, and milk to a blender and blend until smooth.
Spread a couple spoonfuls of date caramel on pizza crust. Top with apples. Bake for 8-12 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
Melt chocolate – you can use a double boiler, or 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring in between.
Drizzle date caramel and melted chocolate over pizza. Top with chopped peanuts. Enjoy!
